Now that I have introduced my copywriting services into my business, I thought it would be a good idea to explain exactly what a copywriter is and what they do.
According to the Oxford Dictionary,
A copywriter: "A person whose job it is to write the words for advertising material."
In my words, a copywriter is a professional who writes copy (text) to inform, communicate or advertise a product or service. It's a copywriter's job to ensure text stands out and is informative, that it reflects on a company's product or service and not only encourages consumers to purchase, but to also show them how much they need this product/ service. This is all while keeping to a business' tone and voice.
A few examples of what a copywriter may produce copy for:
Blog posts
Social media
Business communications
Websites
Product/ service descriptions
Leaflets/ brochures
Newsletters
eBooks
However, copywriters are not restricted to this list. Any copywriter would be happy to discuss the copy you're looking for and work with you if they are able to.
